Directions

We meet at The Hut, Wigginton Rd (opposite York Hospital, and within Clarence Gardens), York YO31 8NF.

Parking near the venue:

  1. Most parking on side streets is reserved for residents. However it is available to Blue Badge holders.
  2. We are informed that the most economical carpark is at the Jaipur Spice restaurant on Haxby Road. You can access Clarence Gardens and The Hut from Haxby Road, via a level footpath.
  3. There is a multi-storey carpark at the hospital, and also a Blue Badge carpark.
  4. There is a carpark on Clarence Street, which involves a longer walk.

Drop-off point:

There is a Council approved drop-off point, on Wiggington Road, just outside the entrance to The Hut (opposite the hospital's multi-storey carpark. Pull across the double yellow lines to drop someone off.

Public transport:

The No. 6 bus (First Group) has the closest bus stops to The Hut (just outside the hospital if travelling from the city centre) and runs approximately every 15 minutes on Saturdays. Alternatively, the No.1 and No.5 buses stop on Clarence Street and Haxby Road.
